Interesting, 14% of boxing fans are female. Apparently here it is zero, they're all alts, I wonder what boxing site they use to keep up on the sport.

Twenty-nine percent of adult boxing fans are ages 18-34, 48 percent 35-49 and 23 percent 50-plus.

        ^^^this needs to change.

It's too bad boxing promoters/fighters/et al only look at the short term and don't invest in the long run. So many things could be done to get younger people into boxing.

Besides boxing on BET. lol. anyone remember those days? With Ed Lover?

that's why im thankful that a lot of mexicans are choosing to come to america. . . it will strengthen the American boxing culture! better believe that bobby arum and oscar know this - they heavily target the latino population. . .

i can say that as a southern white dude myself - UFC definitely reigns supreme. . . Not many white folk in the south like boxing (really most of my black and latino friends from NC prefer UFC too). . . but i go to a diverse law school and have met some ricans and mexicans that like boxing. . . not as much as me, but they still watch it over UFC

that's the problem, arum and GBP know that they basically monopolize the industry and no matter how many bogus fights they put on, and how many shady stunts they pull, we will keep coming back for more. . . because we got no other choice!

I've been saying that since I joined. I cannot understand how the old guard keeps getting the lucrative spots.

I bet you agree with me when I say that Hopkins should have gone a loong time ago.
