Wlad is not even close to being as hard a puncher as Tyson was. Most of Wlad's KO's come LATE IN THE FIGHT after his fat out of shape opposition is gassed out from being clinched to death. Is it a coincidence that one of the only guys that decided to come to the fight in decent shape, was one of the only guys that went the distance? And he easily went the distance at that, and was in no sort of trouble throughout the entire fight.

Wlad DOES NOT have one punch KO power like Tyson, he doesn't have one punch KO power period. And he wasn't as physically strong as Tyson either. Wlad is in great shape, but his build wasn't as muscular as Tyson's. Tyson was faster, stronger AND hit harder.

Tyson DESTROYED elite hall of fame fighters, title holders and solid top contenders WHO HAD NEVER BEEN PREVIOUSLY DESTROYED in under 5 rounds.

While Wlad got destroyed by complete and utter bums in under 5 rounds.

Wlad is a joke. That is all.

uhh, every single one of tyson's KO's was against tomato cans and journeyman. . . especially his "string of first round KO's". . .

seriously you saw what happened to tyson EVERY time he stepped up in class. . .

Freddie Roach isn't god. He is human and has an opinion just like all of us. That being said that isn't hard to believe. Tyson=more explosive Wlad-More blunt force.

Yeah, Holmes, Spinks, Ruddock, Thomas, Bruno, Tubbs, Tucker, Smith, Berbick, Biggs, Golota are "tomato cans and journeymen".... OK.

If you honestly believe this, i couldn't begin to imagine what you think of Wlad's resume.

Wlad has only 2 KO's in under 7 rounds in championship fights (AND THIS IS AGAINST THE WEAKEST AND FATTEST LEVEL OF COMPETITION IN HEAVYWEIGHT HISTORY).

While Tyson has around 10 KO's in under 7 rounds in championship fights.

So how can you possibly have reached the conclusion that Wlad has better one punch KO power than Tyson? I honestly haven't seen any evidence that Wlad has one punch KO power at all.

I have to disagree, Tyson's hand and foot speed, upper body movement, is extremely fast for a HW. Whats scary is that we didn't see Tyson reach his TRUE potential. So many set-backs and departure from his trainers, law, marriage, promoters... etc

They were different types of punchers to be sure.

I don't think its unreasonable to make a case for either guy. Personally I think Wlad, with his size and technique, is capable of throwing a harder punch. However, due to his style, we never see him throw with the sort of intent and intensity that Tyson used to throw with.

What do I know, though. I never been hit by either.

ridiculous post..........for starters Douglas was not a step up in class. Additionally you are calling guys like Spinks and Berbick bums, when they are better than anyone Wlad has ever faced.

                      - Spinks
                      - Berbick
                      - Tucker
                      - Thomas
                      - Ruddock
                      - Holmes
                      - Bruno

etc are not journeymen. These guys are all better than anyone on Wlad's reume. Tysons first loss after Douglas was to Holyfield in 1996 after a FOUR year stretch of inactivity.
