It's not that hard to believe since Wlad weighs 245lb's & Tyson at his best was at 225lb's.

Even then i don't think it's that much difference.

Wlad is prob stronger, but hit harder? no way! a lot of heavyweights are much stronger than Tyson eg Foreman, Tua, Liston, Peters, Rahman but you gotta be kidding if you think they can hit harder than him. Tyson delivers with such speed, accuracy, timing and speed and that mixed with his strength makes him imo the second hardest hitter of all time - behind Shavers of course.

btw hitting the pads is different from hitting someone. Timing is one of the most importants aspects of punching and thats not measured on the pads. Also on the pads all you feel is the weight crashing down with force, but Tysons speed makes you feel a decapitating effect when being hit to the body or face.

wladimir punches harder than tyson, though. on the inside tyson is the hardest puncher of all time simply because his arms were so short he could generate CRAZY power with hooks and uppercuts. . . but from the outside (and overall) wladimir can generate more power than anybody else in the history of boxing. . . his jab is more powerful than some heavyweights straight. . . and his straight right hand can literally kill a grown man with 20 oz. gloves on.
