Be reasonable if he was scared of Margarito then why was the rematch going to happen directly after the Mosley fight with the first fight so fresh in his mind? Also being that its at 153 I think its pretty obvious that Cotto is just being a *** because he has some serious disdain towards Margs. If he was shook he would just say he didn't want to give Margs a payday and fight someone else.

Same reason you ask for a certain type of glove to be worn by both fighters. It knocks the guy off their comfort level. It's called being smart. Margarito deserves the worst, hopefully they can agree on a 30 foot ring so Cotto can box the ears off that cheating ******.

More than likely they tried to get the fight at 150 with a max fight night weight of 160 and when that didn't work they tried to compromise at 152. When Margarito's team threatened to walk away then Cotto had to make a decision...fight Pawel Wolak or Vanes Martirosyan or Cornelius Bundrage for 1million or take the 153 and the 5million dollars guaranteed that come with it. If he gets his @ss kicked he still gets 5million so it was a smart business move as I said yesterday would happen. And if its a good fight as most of think it will be...if Cotto wins he could set up a trilogy with another 5million or more in the 3rd fight. Cotto is all about the money. props to him.
