Hatton wasn't ruined by Floyd. Hatton was ruined by his lifestyle and as a consequence being stuck in Weight class purgatory. He was "too big" to make 140 in a healthy way anymore, which is where he is most effective.

And he was too small and didn't have enough skills to compete at 147 against natural Welters, where he probably felt better at physically.

He got away with this for years but it caught up with him.

Or completely take away all of their confidence... Hatton. (hence him being the fattest he has ever been between a fight after losing to Floyd)
Ndou? He never did crap? You can't ruin a shit fighter. Because, it's already shit.

Hatton was blowing up to 180 pre Floyd. That's why he had the nickname of Fatton pre Floyd.

And, it's not a diss to Floyd to say that he hasn't ruined fighters.

He has won mostly all his fights with ease.

Saying that he hasn't really ruined anyone doesn't take anything away from him and his accomplishments.

But, don't come and mentioning Ndou and Mitchell.

Which is why I said the fattest he had ever been. When the guy himself says he was depressed, then no one can say otherwise.

As for ndou. Hell, brain damage is brain damage.

Floyd has the knack of giving people the yips. Pre-fight, oh it's gonna be tough, oh good match up. Post-fight... completely out matched, Floyd shouldn't have taken this fight, he should have fought someone else. Go watch the baldomir intro, one of the commentators says he favored Baldomir.

Another case of being stuck in Weight-Class purgatory isJuan Diaz. Nobody ruined him.

He had a few bad outings at 135, his best weight class for his size and style. Tried his hand with a catchweight and even Malignaggie was too big for him. Fatty probably got tired of making 135, wanted to move up but knew what was awaiting him up there and decided to retire.

You need Floyd, James Toney skills to still compete against bigger guys, when you can no longer out muscle, out physique them. Floyd isn't as physical now as he was at 130 but still as dominant.

ill say this, floyd snapping your head back over and over without knocking you out does your body no favors. in the long run, getting repeatedly smacked around like that is more damaging than just being knocked out. well that's what science says anyways.

Diaz is a natural 135 pounder and his chin was cracked by Marquez.

I drew the distinction between what Pac does and what Floyd does because both are harming...but in different ways.

I listen to fighters during post-fight (or weeks after) interviews with Floyd and they literally don't know what happened in there.

Not that they were physically dazed, but they don't know what adjustments FMJ made, why they can't get off, why they can't stop him from hitting them. It's frustrating and disconcerting.

More than any other fighter, I see Floyd's opponents dejected on the stool or being yelled at by their trainers.

Floyd has said it, and Andre Ward quoted Floyd in a recent interview: It doesn't look that hard. "Yeah, he has the record, and he has some speed. But I don't see him being anything special". Then you get in there and it's no fun.

                      Pac - Shaq
                      Floyd = Akeem/Tim Duncan
