Ward isn't claiming greatness though - he says even if he beats Froch hes still has a lot to do.

Froch on the other hand is trying to claim it - a great with a loss to Kessler on his record.

All of wards fans call him p4p material the guy is untested and has nothing special besides a useless gold medal

him and dirrell are basically the same fighter, the types that are ruining the sport.

Doesn't rate him, thinks he's an overproctected fighter that ducks the best and stays at home - and get dogdy verdicts e.g. lost at home to Andrade and the only reason he got was cause hometown judges

Doesn't matter what his fans say - Ward says he isn't close to being great.

Froch fans say the same about Froch to be fair - but Froch thinks he's close to greatness, i was pointing out how ridiculous his belief is.

Froch's doing what he needs to do to build his own confidence abd try to get into Ward's head.

What do you expect him to say - Ward dominated Kessler, I lost to him in a real tear up.

A really inexperienced and green Dirrell i struggled with, at home, and a lot of people thought I lost the fight.

Ward is the most similar in style to Dirrell accept Ward has a far higher IQ than Dirrell, Ward is also is mentally far tougher, and is now far more experienced than Dirrell was.

Of course not - Froch is going turn past situations into the most positive they could possibly be i.e. Kessler only lost to Ward because of two headbutts, even though Kessler had lost every round conclusively before the first headbutt which came in what the 6th round.

Of course Froch's going to play down Ward's power - but something to consider for Froch, Kessler was agressor the one on the front foot in the Kessler Froch fight - nothing Froch threw detered Kessler.

Sure there was ebb and flow but in the main, nothing Froch threw was hard enough to stop Kessler coming forward.

If Ward's power is so insignificant - how come Kessler didn't just walk through Ward and stop him?

How come AA didn't just walk through Ward and stop him?

Because believe me if a guy can't punch hard enough to make you think twice then you will walk through him.

Of course I'm not going to claim Ward is the harder puncher of the two but like he says, he punches hard enough. Hard enough to earn respect but he won't be knocking anybody out with one shot.

I remember Froch saying that he'd beat Kessler because if Calzaghe could get Kessler going backwards then what would he be able to do to him.

Can somebody remind me how that turned out?
