Ward doesn't have KO power against the Elite but I think he has enough pop to get their respect.

2) Ward clinches and headbutts WAY too much. I can watch and appreciate Hopkins but this guy is way too much and he never even gets warned about it.

Ward makes a good point. Froch turned to rough tactics when he couldn't do anything against Dirrell.

Not really. Dirrell was being dirty all night holding, and falling to the floor everytime Froch was in position to hit him. Say what you want but throwing yourself to the floor like Dirrell did was very dirty because more often than not he did it to avoid getting hit....guy should have got an 8 count for that crap.

Froch only went dirty because Dirrell kept giving him the back of the head and ducking low to then come up with punches, which is illegal btw.

So who fault is it then, not Wards he found his niche of not getting hit.He can fight in the pocket or out, and Hopkins is worse than Ward at dirty tactics.He wins his fights hands down no gifts no issues.

Not necessarily. Plenty of referees allow fighters hit fighters in the back of the head if they are ducking below the waist. I think I saw that in Margarito Cintron II.

Kesler got nutted over and over and was stopped on cuts. Had teh fight been in Denmark we would have seen the opposite result even if we watched the same fight. It would have been a Kessler DQ.

I think thats why Ward insists on home advantage because he knows he wouldnt get away with that stuff anywhere else. Dirrell took a risk and travelled and if Wward did teh same he'd lose his zero too. Not a massive puncher so he relies on his judges to give him the nod. Bika fight was a lnadslide but in reality he had a handful for 6 rounds. Thats why I cant be a fan of Ward but he is the man being groomed to replace Floyd so I gues we will have to get use to him.

Haha, yeah I saw that thread. That dude was definitely seeing something that isn't there. Ward is the most respectful and humble fighter i've seen in awhile.

Speaking as a HUGE Froch fan, I would have 2 agree with u.

If he beats Carl fair and square, he'll have made a believer out of me.
