Actually it helps my cases. Think about it. Cotto vs a shot Mayorga did 200k. Marquez vs a shot Diaz did more than Cotto (slightly) and B-Hop vs a way shot Roy Jones did almost as much Cotto7iMayorga. I don't have the Moralez-Maidana numbers but I bet that was close as well. And BHop-RJJ was only distributed by HBO. No marketing push as they were against the fight and it still almost equaled Cotto-Mayorga.

Me personally am not a #s guy when it comes to the sport. I mean anyone can do the leg work. i'm just not that interested. All the fighters you've mentioned are for the most part name fighters. Diaz not so much and I wouldn't call him shot. As I suggested maybe ask Gino Ross who's done countless threads on PPV #s. Mind you all #s will differ from 1 mouth or publication to the other.

Don't u remember how people were talking about how Manny barely edged Floyd with the Manny-Cotto and Floyd-JMM fights. Also Cotto-Margarito did 450k. Cotto-Mosley was under 400k. U also left out Marquez's fights vs Casamyor and Barrera which were ppv.

As far as Cotto getting 40% of total PPV u are either on crack or just don't understand. The cable rpovder (like Cox, directv,dishnetwork, etc) gets half. Then HBO or Showtime takes half of the 50%that was remaining leaving 25% for Top Rank. They make their profit plus pay for the uindercard, all the expenses (flying in fighters, food, hotels etc) and they give the man event fghters a small cut after a certain amount of ppvs have been sold. For the record Cotto made 1mil and Mayorga made 400k. Go to Nevada Athletic State Commission website. Its public record.

Have we added in the millions spent on advertising? The commercials etc? The costs of Top Rank's staff? PR people, matchmakers, Arum etc? All the commercials weren't on Showtime. I know its hard for someone with your limited mental capacity but I said the cable providers (I named cox, directv, and dishnetwork, etc) goet 50%. I didn't day EACH one gets 50%. I named 3 providers. I said combined the get 50% lol. U really aren't the sharpest tool in the shed. Each rpivdier gets 50% of each ppv they sell each ppv they sell. That equals 50% of the toal ppv revenue. I never said Marquez gets $5 per pay per view. U have a lack of reading skills as well. I said they get $1-5 per ppv sell deending on what is negotiated. And not for every ppv buy. Only the nes after theuy hit a threshold. Manny Pacquiao gets a bonus after hitting a certain threshold. Your lack of brain power can't comprehend that.

You said how can Pacquiao get the same ppv% as Marquez? Easy u moron. JMM will have a 5million guarantee while Pac will have a 20 mil guarantee like he did vs Mosley. U understand now?
