Have anybody of you heard to someone of Cotto's team demanding publicly a catchweight ? It's only Margo's team who's whining and crying for that. Shame on you Margo's team

we'll have to see. could be gamesmanship on there behalf, could be true. i haven't heard anything from cotto's camp, arum said it wasn't true. i mean, if this is really an issue why the hell would cotto waste his time with him then? what's he got to offer?

This is a 154 fight with title on the line. If Cotto can't make 154 he really needs to take his @ss back down to 147. Or let Cotto come in at his weight and let Margo come in at his as long as it's inside the junior middle class

The truth is there is no bigger payday out there than the one Cotto can offer. Margarito is trying to stay relevant and earn some good money, Cotto is about at good as it gets since Martinez is no big name or PPV attraction.

Of course he does but Margarito needs Cotto more than Cotto needs him.

Cotto has plenty of options out there since he can headline a PPV.

Like I mentioned in my previous post, I do agree that the fight needs to take place at 154. However, 152 wouldn't be too bad either.

And I mean you can't criticize Cotto too much, Pacquiao is doing the same thing and so did Mayweather against Marquez - of course chicken boy gets the award for the most cowardly act in boxing history. But anyways, It's not that big of a deal, specially when you've earned being able to set your demands since you're the big name.

You want to make good money, you have to fight the big names and you have to play by their rules. If you don't want to, there will be others in line waiting to get than chance. That's how it works.

Margarito can't come down in weight any longer because he's shot, tired, beaten down, and lazy. He wants this last payday with Cotto at the easiest walking around catch weight possible, then he's done. Cotto has two fights left in him. He has a lot of motivation for his finest hour to reverse his loss to Margarito and he has that left in his tank. He will win that fight by knockout. But then he he fights any of today's best after Margarito: Pacquiao again, Khan, or Maidana he gets knocked out by either of those three. Great warrior, just too many wars.

Cotto just went hollywood on me ....c'mon son...leave that 150 **** for the clowns....now on the flip....Cotto lost his WW strap to Manny and wasn't allowed to weigh in at the limit....145 was the catch.....so imo Arum owes Cotto a couple of pounds....it is what it is!!

not really a Pac follower as far as his titles and other ****....just like to watch him scrap...but it JUST hit me that he won his 147 strap and 154 strap at catchweights....titles 7 and 8 came at 145 and 150...WOW!!!....and the nerve of SOME of you to rate him higher than B.Hop....no way is Manny the greatest active fighter in the game atm...no way!!!!!!!!

hope this doesn't fall apart. margs did 150 against manny, i'm sure he could still do it. regardless though, cotto shouldn't be asking for it, they can take him at 154.
