Froch Tells Ward: Don't butt me like you butted Mikkel Kessler.

Yes, Ward only won that fight because of the head butts.
It wasn’t because Kessler had absolutely no reply for every aspect of Wards game; speed, accuracy, skill, craftiness. If this fight had happened in Denmark, Mikkel would have lost every single round before winning by DQ.

So Ward WILL move inside a lot.

Froch has a telescopic reach so it'll be ****** to stay on the outside. Furthermore Ward, Im sure, noticed that Froch isn't as effective when forced to fight on the back foot as he was against Kessler.
So Ward WILL move inside a lot.

- Goossen's shady referee Jack Reiss was admonishing Kessler during the fight and in his corner between rounds for nothing, to confuse him and throw him off. Kessler was fighting two men that night - and Reiss permitted Ward to foul as much as he wanted.
(the contract for the Super Six stated NEUTRAL referees would be used, but Goossen's California man Jack Reiss was in there).
- before the fight, there were a lot of head games from the Ward camp, for example Kessler's gloves being questioned, even though they knew there was nothing wrong with themLast edited by The Hammer; 08-23-2011, 10:39 AM.

At least Froch is bringing this to public attention, there are some out there in boxing who would like to pretend it doesn't happen in Ward fights
