froch is just making a statement based on an observation. . .
      True.

Last time the judges favored a fighter in Atlantic City, the fighter was an American promoted by Dan Goossen, just like Andre Ward is and his opponent was from another country.

I was impressed with Froch the way he gave as good as he got against Abraham when Aurthur hit him on the break and things like that. Froch just lamped him straight back and you could see it got Abraham's respect.

I really, really, really hope (like all people on this board I'm sure) for a good fight with no nasty foul play from either sides so win or loose for your favourite fighter, we can all be happy and say - good fight.

And like I said, if it happened in Denmark -- Mikkel would have lost most rounds only to win by DQ. If people are happy to claim that as a victory, then do so.

Unaware of the gloves issue, but he's has never struck me as someone who’s mentally weak enough to have been thrown off his game by something like that.

              Good post!

And Froch isn't the type of fighter who is mentally weak and thrown off, he's a warrior. Ward is the much more gifted and talented fighter though and some on here are going to build in excuses from the beginning because they favor Froch's skin pigmentation. I don't think he'll win, but Im rooting for him because he's a BEAST!!

I don't think Froch has the head to be headbutting his opponents back, he'll probably take the worse of it. They say no one wins in a headbutt but tell that to fighters like Ward and Holyfield.

If he is, I can see Ward getting away with his illegal methods, then Froch retaliating and getting DQed.
Froch should retaliate with low-blows, he doesn't have the head for headbutting back. I think he'll take the worst of it.

Gotta disagree my friend. Ward was simply ducking a punch and coming back up in my opinion. I didn't see anything deliberate about that and it happens all the time in this sport.
