Sounds like froch is throwing his excuse for losing out there right now. Sorry but i have never seen ward intentional headbutt anyone. First rule of boxing: Protect yourself at all times. If froch does that then there shouldnt be a problem.

But with that said Froch will get headbutted. not intentional but because he is too slow. Ward throws a punch and then brings his body right behind it to close distance so you cant get off. If the other guy isnt expecting it and stays right there then it is "possible" for a butt to occur. But if a guy is focused he could just step back ala floyd but the problem with froch is he is too slow defensively, he wont be able to react in time so we will see alot of clinches and a few butts.

I remember in the Johnson fight,Johnson went low the very next punch Froch answered with a low blow of his own..Same with Dirrell,he kept on holding so Froch started hitting behind the head and even slamed his punk azz..Just come to fight no need for dirty tricks..But just know your not the only one who can play dirty..

Froch is normally a clean fighter. You gotta love that he'll pay back when the rules arent enforced.

I like Froch, but not this kind of statements. Sounds like the crying before the fight. Train hard and come in to win because this kind of statements sounds like excuses too me. Is like: BU HU HU, Don't butt me, don't hit me.. this sort of complaints should be directed to the referee while He gives the final instructions in the dressing room before the fight.
