THATS something I've always noticed about froch and I love about him. I think it would be better if froch won, actually. Beause then I know the Bute fight would be made, or he'd move up to 175 to try and make magic happen with the Hopkins/dawson winner.

These type of big fights are what the sport needs and i think it's more likely they happen with froch as teh victor, he seems easiar to negotiate with.
Nice comment there, I think you are right about the fact that Froch is not going to go easy after the super six. But I don't see Froch as stepping completely down after the fight win or lose, because he will still be the second biggest name in SMW. We gotta remember that in boxing it is okay to lose. It's the worst thing that can happen to a boxer, but it is okay in the terms of bouncing back to the point where you still fight to become the best. We've seen it with Mikkel Kessler and I think it'll be the same story with Froch, if he can keep that healthy mindset of his.

In your comment I've highlighted a quote from you, and I wanted to ask you, don't you rather think it's these kind of champions the sport needs?

They will say yes. The hardest punch he threw came from on top of his shoulders.

The punches were NOT hurting them, that's why he resorted to using the headbutts.

The crooked ref got in Bika's face for the slightest infraction, but permitted Ward to hit while holding, hit off the break and headbutt as much as he wanted to.

Ward got frustrated in the Abraham fight too: after he was hitting Abraham a lot but not hurting him at all, he came in like a billy goat with a blatently deliberate headbutt. The ref said nothing about it.

          Spot on

A win for either will be good for boxing

Ward may be allowed to get away with a few rough tactics and he may have had the home advantage for every fight upto this point but he's still an awesome fighter

Froch is the definition of a fighter making the best use of what he's got, and he's hardly ever in a boring fight

He might be crude but he keeps winning. He'll also fight anybody, talks **** in a funny way, and doesn't like it when people try to steal his bike, what's not to like?

The Super Six may have dragged on a bit, but I think the actual fight and the whole event will make it worth while

My heart says Froch win, but my head says Ward in a competitive but clear points win

Froch because he is far more entertaining than Ward and his potential fights against Kessler, Bute and maybe some LHW fighters would be great fights.

If Ward wins then great he would have deserved it but i don't get excited for his fights.

What he said, both guys have profited from dodgy refs and judges in the past,as long as there is none of that for this fight then im happy

Jesus Christ wouldn't cheat with deliberate headbutts, hitting off the break, and hitting while holding.

He wouldn't have his promoter pay off crooked referees like Jack Reiss to let him get away with illegal tactics.

And he wouldn't hire Victor Conte like Ward did.

Ward is no "Son of God" - he's just a fraud!

Even though the US boxing media tries to hype the pampered, feather-fisted Andre Ward, he's definitely no warrior and a very boring boxer to watch with his hit-while-holding style.

Ward demanded home country advantage for all his Super Six fights. A real champion isn't afraid to fight on the road, without home referees that permit him to foul!

In contrast, Froch is a ring warrior who has fought in foreign countries for 4 of his past 5 fights.

Boxers like Ward turn off potential fans, but fighters like Froch bring new fans to the sport!

So Froch winning is better for boxing.
shut yo racist ass up..both have fought and beat top comp to get where they are.may the best man win

I’m not too concerned about America’s boxing scene.

I can’t imagine the average British fan getting excited over Wards style.

If Carl wins, it helps validate him in the UK; more coverage, more exposure, more interest in the sport.
