How many times has Martinez and Williams fought at 160 before they met? That's right, both had 2 fights. Williams was one fight removed from 154 before they fought. These are all facts. Yes Martinez moved from 154 to 160 to fight Williams, but BOTH of them were fresh to the division. With your logic, Pac should get credit for "moving up to JrMW" to fight Margarito.


Martinez moved up to 160 because it was a more comfortable weight, an opinion that's supported by the fact that he hasn't moved back down to 154.

He's just begging for a payday, I don't blame him but its pretty sad how hard he's trying. He won't move up because the risk/reward isn't high enough, especially if he looses (there goes the chance at a Floyd/Pac fight).
