IDK how many fights you've ever listened to Merchant commentate. But, normally when someone gets KO'd, Merchant is very monotone. He's nothing like the commentators in the UFC when someone gets KO'd. They are more consistent with their reaction to KO's.

Normally Merchant shows little to no emotion when someone gets KO'd. If you were a boxing fan you would know this. Off the top of my head, just look at the Mayweather vs Hatton fight for starters.

Merchant does not yell "It's over!" in joy on a normal bases lol You're too funny man.

If Merchant didn't have a history of discrediting RJJ in post fight interviews, I would maybe see where you're coming from. But anyone that knows boxing, knows that Merchant has had it out for Roy for sometime before Roy actually lost.
