If anyone actually agrees with the ts than its clear you've never been a boxer. I think even half ass boxers could beat the **** out of street fighters.

If by street fighting you mean MMA style (kicks, elbows, knees, etc) then I think your on to something. I wouldn't go far as saying that an average person could beat up Mayweather, Pac of Vitali, but an experience street fighter or an lesser experienced person that trains in MMA would have a decent chance in a street fight.

I know what he is trying to say. Despite phrasing it poorly and coming off as a troll, which he might be.
Typically the rugged, come forward, strong Fighters like Edison Miranda, Mayorga, Andrade, Margarito etc,. Even though they might get beaten and Ko'd more than a Mayweather or Andrew Ward.
Those guys in the real world, without a ref would be more effective at fighting. In a real life situation, like getting attacked at a bar, Miranda would have a better time fighting off one or two guys, then someone who moves around and counters, and depends on the Ref to save him from any rough house tactics. Slick boxers are ineffective outside the ring. Mike Tyson can *** up two guys at once, while Lennox Lewis probably couldn't. Using his long jab doesn't work in the real world.

I had an amateur kid, 112 pounds soaking weight, he would get into fights at the club with guys MUCH bigger than him and punch them at will...they usually made the mistake of trying to go punch for punch and it turned out bad...I know another pro from my city who was well known for fights in the ******...he would WRECK guys much bigger than him regularly (he was usually between 155 and 160)...it stands to reason that in general anyone who doesnt box who tries to PUNCH with a real boxer, no matter the size, is going to get tore up...but once u put ground fighting, wrestling, etc into themix than the boxers advantages likely wont come into play...one aspect that the boxer will almost ALWAYS have the HUGE advantage in, though, is in his conditioning...you take the average pro boxer and match up with the average guy in the bar, club or street....I'll say the non-boxer gasses out and gasses out BADLY in much quicker fashion that the boxer and once that happens? Its a one sided whipping...

i ve been in some street fights and my boxing skills definatly payed off....
and i wrestled allittle too so i could handle myself in that department too....
but my point is if u have a good acurate left hook with some power and speed....
u can end the fight early.
i agree with the iceman.

With the training you get from boxing your body is just to conditioned for combat. The average person who fights in the bar or on the streets wouldnt be too much of a threat its a whole worlds difference of speed and timing any trained boxer would have a frenzy seeing so many openings and when your trained how to properly turn your punches over, and pivot, it could really hurt someone out on the streets.

If the street fight involves weapons or guns you may be right. A boxer could be at a disadvantage. If you mean somebody that just street fights, I think a boxer would tear his a$$ up. It's in a man's nature to think he can fight and do damage to another man if he wanted to. I've gotten into street fights here and there in my young days. Now that I do boxing, I'd love to see what a street fighter can do to me....He'll get his a$$ knocked out!!!
I assume we're not talking about MMA when you say street fighters.
