Well that fight wasn't on HBO. Since that even was on PPV. But, I guess you count HBO PPV as HBO. While IMO both are different. But, OK point taken and noted.

I just know that Mares would make more money with Donaire than he would with Agbeko. Especially since you look at how much HBO budget is compare to Showtime(if the rematch takes place on Showtime).

Because, I disagree Donaire is the biggest money fight in the division for any fighter. But, if you mean the difference will be minimal then OK I disagree but won't argue it.

I'm glad most of you don't believe that. Although no one can predict injuries.... Abner has every intention to fight Joseph Agbeko again.

If he was worried about losing... he would of never enter the Bantamweight Tournament.

I believe mares will fight whoever they put in front of him.

I think it ultimately comes down to how much faith schaeffer and dlh have in him. Theres alot of compelling storylines that can be explored in donaire- mares that just would not be present in a donaire-agbeko match while the mares-agbeko rematch will still be there regardless of the outcome of a mares-donaire matchup.

There's a bunch of articles here that says HBO gets Donaire's next fight, they even allotted him a main event date this Fall...
