Floyd Watching His Kids? Floyd's Been Hanging Out In Strip Club Gun Battles!

Floyd will get knocked out. Nobody said he wouldn't be in shape. But he will get knocked out; just admitted he doesn't like to get hit. Well this just in: Floyd's going to get hit, hit often, hurt and knocked out.

          You are an idiot.

          Just saying.....

Ortiz was killing himself to make 140, he should have moved up to welter 3-4 years ago when Freddie Roach first advised him to.

          Just saying.....

What about in the Judah fight ?

            The point is.....

Ortiz has either knocked out, or knocked down, everyone he has fought.

Mayweather is 34yo and coming off a layoff.

Floyd should be too well-rounded for Ortiz, but you are sleeping on Vic.

Floyd is a joke and will get KTFO. You heard it hear first.
spoken like a true HATER! floyd is one of the most disciplined fighters in the game today. and how do you know what type of test he can and cannot pass? just silly. very few fighters train like floyd. he is never out of shape. and ortiz will find out very fast that floyd is not peterson. so your prediction will be like most of your post, a non issue.

if he walks around at 150 then there is no reason to re-hydrate to above 150. a fighter who walks around at perhaps 160 and has to drop water to make wt will re-hydrate to above the 147 limit.

I agree. In the Judah fight, that should have been ruled an official knockdown when Floyd's glove touched the canvas because it was definitely from a legitimate punch but the referee blew the call.

As far as my sleeping on Ortiz; Not at all and neither is Floyd or boxing fans. Floyd in particular, is drawing from his own boxing wisdom and ring experience when assessing Victor's ability. He has been in with stronger and bigger punchers before and have dominated them all. Besides, we all know this kid's strengths and weaknesses. He's just your typical one dimensional boxer/slugger offensive fighter who is easy to hit.

Also, I agree. Mayweather is 34 years old and coming off a layoff and Ortiz' best shot at winning is if the ring rust and father time has finally caught up to Mayweather. However If not, then he is going to have to change his style in order to win this fight. For one, he is going to have to fight at a much busier pace, attack Floyd's body, find a jab and defense but most of all show tons of heart; Because Mayweather's constant tying up, shoulder rolling and potshotting tends to frustrate his opponents. His style has a way of discouraging them, to the point of breaking their spirits, in the process.

                      Who would that be ?

                      Mosley? An old Hoya?

I'm not too sure about that my friend.

Ortiz is young, fast, hungry, prime, and right on top of his game.

But it is disappointing that he does not fight behind an authorative jab.

He exhibits a good fast stiff jab when working the mitts, but he generally just uses it as a range-finder in the ring.

I am disappointed that Mayweather, yet again, stepped up to fight the best guy available. I would love to have seen Ortiz firmly establish himself at welter, and I was praying for a Pacquiao/Ortiz fight.

After the Mayweather fight, folks will say that Ortiz was over-rated, and some ignorant clowns will even say that Mayweather was just picking on a JWW.

Ortiz woulda given Pac fits, I am not surprised at all that Manny would not consider Vic as an opponent.
