I love boxing, any boxing. So yea I will be entertained, I will happily watch and happily pay, usually I go to parties but for this fight that probably won't happen so whatever I will go in solo.

I will wipe my ass with $60 though, I don't want to get into stories that you probably won't believe but that shit is a drop in a swimming pool.

the main reason why is because they let the 2 biggest PPV's of the year so far go to showtime. Cotto Mayorga 200k plus an Pac-Mosley 1.3 mill plus. HBO has sold less than 50k PPV because GBP doesn't know how to promote ****.

Ross greenburg got rightfully fired because he also doesnt know **** about boxing.

Basically the message is that if you want a full card the only way you get it is by ppv it sets a bad precedent for boxing. Hbo subscriptions are high enough and for them to put this on ppv is a joke. Nobody outside purists knows or caresabout dawson and hopkins. The undercard is decent but nothing to go ape over.

I get that hbo can't manage their affairs but I shouldn't have to pay for it.

This card should be on wcb.

          LOL, what?

Believe me, I buy almost every PPV that comes out (that I consider worth the money of course) but there's no way I'm paying for this. I'll get a stream and I could care less if I get a mediocre quality stream, I just don't care that much about this fight.

Reason that Hopkins vs Dawson is on ppv because HBO had no money in their budget for this fight.

Thats what happens when you deal with Al-Haymen, you pay his 3-4 fighters 80% of your yearly budget despite his fighters having 0 fans or selling power.
This! HBO wasted money on these hypejobs. I was a fan of Alexander until he *****ed out of the Bradley fight.

Individually its not a lot of money, but its a lot of money if enough people buy it.

This is a microcosm of the banking system and the taxpayer. Big banks (hbo) can't manage their money properly and go broke then they ask the taxpayer (boxing fans) to bail them out by paying for a card that would normally be worth the price of the subscription.

All of you who are so willing to give your money away for an inferior product that is only on ppv because of suspect business practices should just send me the rest of your money while you're at it because you clearly don't understand how to manage your money in the first place.
