There is still a big disagreement on the weight for Marg-Cotto II.

Any truth to the rumors that Cotto wants the Margacheato fight at a catchweight? I don't think Margs has much leverage in this coming off the Pac and Mosley beatdowns and the suspension

    Dan Rafael (12:23 PM)

    That is under discussion.

So he's ****ing with Margarito at the negotiation table, who the **** cares. It'll be a war either way.

Tony or Cotto will win, regardless of the catchweight. Some silly catchweight won't drown out my enjoyment I'll have, especially since me and my homies are taking the train to NYC to wild out

I'd agree with that. I'd say it would be lame of cotto to get the catchweight. you don't show someone who might have cheated against you by cheating them. show him you're the better man with no stipulations so everyone can see.

Catch weights aren't always bad if the fighter is struggling to go up in weight usually. I have no problem with Pac asking for a catch weight if he can't make 147 lagit for example and they decide to come in at 144 for example.

In this case, Cotto is acting like a b1tch. He fought at 154 and won the title at that weight, for him to ask for 150 is just his way of trying to weight drain Marg, not because he can't make the weight.......

I dont see you here b*tching about how De La Hoya made B-hop come down to 156 for their MW unification fight, even though De La Hoya had won his MW title at full 160

                  You are just a hipocrit!!!!!

Funny thing is, it's not like Margarito would really suffer to make 150.

I don't know about that. Robert Garcia has clearly stated in the past that 154 is the optimal weight for him and he will never fight at 147 again. Considering the amount of weight he will rehydrate to, 150 might be too low.

It's only 3lbs from 147 lets remember that.
