To me Cotto shouldn't be considered a champion at 154 because he hasn't beaten a real good fighter at that weight. So I can understand why his team would ask the much bigger Margarito to fight at 150. At 154 it would be too tough to beat Margarito at his natural weight.

If Margarito could make 147 for Pacquiao he shouldn't have any problems making 150 for Cotto.

wtf, this doesn't make sense. why would cotto want a cw if he's fought there before. hopefully they settle this disagreement soon. don't really see a need for catchweights though, margs will be what he wants to be on fight night
