  • There has been a million articles on this topic and everyone should know whats up by now.No test no fight plain and simple!! I dont think Manny is oppose to take the test and i dont think Floyd is using it to get out of the fight.I dont think team Mayweather ever said Manny has to take a test on fight night. Its random testing so it can be done at any time(thats the definition of random)and for the people who say they stop testing 19 days before the Mosley fight doesnt mean there was a cut off.Mosley gave blood 6 times and Floyd 5.No one was dirty in any of there test so they stopped with the blood.Actually Mosley was given a urine test when leaving Big Bear on his way to Vegas. There is one reason and one reason only this fight wont come off and that is Bob Arum. Manny doesnt call his own shots if he did we would not be even talking about this fight.Bob Arum will allow this to happen when he chooses. For all the real boxing fans sake lets hope its sooner than later.

I mean they hate mayweather to the point where they use racist comments towards him (ignorance maybe but thats their opinion) .
How can you say he is afraid of Manny? Cause he wont fight him?
        ok ill give you that
then you have to admit that Manny was scared of Cassamayor, Ortiz, Bradley, ALexander, and now Martinez cause he didnt want a piece of any of trhem and they all clearly called him out.
        it goes both ways man
oh and FYI I cant stand either manny nor floyd
I am a fan of the sport
Pacman had agreed to the test, yet Floyd and his fanboys continue to say no he hasn't. It's as if they get instant satisfaction of saying that. It's supposed to be good news, yet it's met with anger. I don't know why?

But I'm taking this whole thing lightly now. It's kind of hilarious, if you think about it.

        ;-)

If manny was that special he would have come here and gone to top rank immediately. Look, Manny is a 1st ballot HOF'er. But prior to top rank what did you see in his fights that suggested if he moved to 140 and 147 he would retain speed and power?

Ill admit I say an interview where he said he would take the test
he never said what kind of tests
lets assume it was everything that Floydie was asking then cool
but its not up to pac its up to arum
arum has been playing us since day one and letting this fight fester to this point. I dont think its funny I think its ***ed up that we as fans allow this sh it to go on because we are the ones who have the final say
if we dont buy tickets to the fight or dont buy the PPV's then they wouldnt get paid but we continue to buy their fights regardless and I am guilty of that. I know this upcoming fight with pac and JMM is a total mismatch and BS fight just like his last 5 fights but I have bought every single one!
            what am I thinking

Instead, Pacquiao team came up with excuse after excuse, cut-off date after cut-off date until now, even though i've never truly believed Pacquiao was on anything, he finds himself in a position where many are questioning why he was so against this kind of testing from the start.

Take the test, make it happen and show us just who is the best fighter in the world today.
If Manny had just said **** you coward I'm not taking test from the beginning, instead of the multiple excuses floyd and we his fans would have no leg to stand on.

Floyd hasn't made Manny look guilty, Manny and his team have.

so what did they agree to?
USADA were full of corrupt officials and they want the very well respected international agency in WADA to take overall control and strict scrutiny of what USADA does so that they can perform according to the rule and not according to the pocket/money of floyd...ending the bloodtesting on the 19th day (very premature) on Mosley vs Floyd rendered the advocacy of floyd on bloodtesting in doubt....

                  • Pacquiao-Mayweather Drug Talk seems endless, which has good and bad points. On the one hand, it should be discussed because the fight is that big; on the other hand, we get to a point where we hear the same nonsense, a lot of which is based around drug testing. I want to preface everything I am about to say with the fact that, while I do not like Floyd Mayweather as a person, I have absolute respect for him as a fighter. His choice of opponents since moving to welterweight has been HIGHLY questionable, but I am not the type of person to call him a “bum,” etc. just because I do not like Floyd the person. Too many people get far too emotional when they discuss things like sports. I have found it interesting that so many people I talk to have their one favorite fighter and that’s it. Some people like Floyd, and everyone else sucks. Some like Manny, and everyone else is trash. I like a lot of fighters, I love boxing, and I can be honest about my
opinions in any boxing discussion. Along those lines, it needs to be said, Floyd is not at all comfortable with the idea of fighting Manny.

It seems there are a fairly decent number of u on here alleging, if not flat-out accusing Pacquiao of being a steroid user. My first question is, where were all these people before Floyd, Sr., Roger, and Floyd, Jr. started yapping about it? You know the world we live in, where rumors about anything swirl from second to second. There was never a breath spoken in public about Manny possibly being on steroids before Floyd was in a position of public demand to fight Pacquiao.

If this wasn’t really about Manny specifically (which we all know it is) and was truly about “cleaning up the sport,” I’d like someone to count the number of cards that have been promoted by Golden Boy (Floyd’s actual promoter at this point in his career) or Mayweather Promotions since Floyd made those comments. After we have that number, how many of those fights included random drug testing? It seems Floyd vs. Shane and Ortiz may be the only ones.

Another bullet point from the Mayweathers was about how Manny’s knockout percentage was increasing along with his rise through the weight classes. Floyd decided to meet Marquez (a career featherweight) in what basically turned out to be a welterweight fight. But, let’s go back to the two fights Marquez had previous to fighting Floyd. Marquez, in his first fight at lightweight, knocks out Joel Casamayor, who had never been knocked out before. In his very next fight, Marquez knocks out Juan Diaz, a fighter who hadn’t been knocked out before. So, a guy who spent the majority of his career around 126 jumps to 135, knocks out two very legit fighters, but we don’t hear a peep about drug use. I am in NO way insinuating Marquez ever used ANYTHING; my point is, Marquez moved up in weight, knocked guys out, but for some reason it’s only su****ious to the Mayweathers when Manny Pacquiao does it.

so what did they agree to?
so wada does not sanction a drug testing agency to serve its purpose??
