Good point. PBF would never make JMM move up to 144 to fight him.

Floyd doesnt show his fight night weight because he feels its a advantage to play mind games. were so caught up that we debate about it.

Floyd was 160 or close enough to it againest Marquez, a little lighter againest Mosley. Im surprised hes at 149 now. I expected 153, but hes always in shape , so actually boxing im not surprised his body lost weight quick its very possible. i expect him tobe 156 on fight night. 2 pounds more maybe.

Hes grown into a WW. you can tell the difference in his early part of WW and his last two fights there.

There was no fight night weight for The World Awaits. I have the fight right here. DLH had no fight night weight, neither did Mayweather. That was actually the first fight in which Mayweather did not weigh himself in for HBO. I don't know if that was DLH's first time too, gotta check the Mayorga fight. I know Floyd was 149 on fight night against Baldomir, so it's not out of the question that he could have weighed 150 for DLH on fight night. He's done it before, not gain a pound from the weigh in for fight night.

I have my own theory as to why floyd don't do the fight night weigh-in anymore.

He did it until he fought Oscar, who didn't want to do the fight night weigh-in. (please correct me on this one if it's not true. This is how i remember it)

Floyd, wanting to be a superstar like Oscar, thereafter just mimicked that behavior. It's like hes obsessed with Oscar in a way, never wanting to feel inferior to him. (i don't work for oscar, he works for me etc...)

well the difference would be food intake at most. There would be no reason for floyd to dehydrate himself to come in at 4lbs under the limit.

I think It's safe to say 150-152 was his fight night weight against oscar.

Besides theres not really any set rules for the unofficial fight night weight. I'd think It's quite common for fighters not to weigh in naked, so people should probably take the weight with a grain of salt.

                That's for the weigh in.

I repeat, there was no fight night weight for The World Awaits.
Listen to the intro, Jim Lampley says HBO unofficial weigh in is not available for this fight. I just heard it right now.

Last fight Floyd weighed in on fight night was the Baldomir fight.

Yeah, my mind played tricks on me despite looking at the picture.

I do feel It's safe to think he was very close to 150 on fight night however, using the logic of my above post.

Now, I know what the first excuse will be from the haters after Mayweather beats Ortiz. They will claim that Ortiz had to drain himself to make weight. After all, he weighed 10 pounds over the limit at the 30-day weigh-in. He will have to kill himself to lose that 10 pounds by Sept. 17.
