Losing 17 pounds of water weight one month before a fight is the dumbest thing I've heard since people's top secret rehydration clauses. (And it's right up there with all the people that said they only needed to test a spoon full of blood. Remember that myth?)Comment

This thread is funny. Why do people make such a big deal about weight? Floyd has never won fights based on being bigger, Floyd is a small dude. What Floyd weighed the night of the Marquez fight is irrelevant. Why do people bring that up? Floyd wins because he's better not bigger.Comment

Maybe, I don't really know or really care one way or another. It means nothing really. Maybe he was, maybe he was not. No one really knows except for him and his camp.
I don't know why people speak as if it's certain if he was or wasn't.
Point is today's weigh-in doesn't confirm in anyway that he was or wasn't that high.Comment

I walk around 152 and in my first amateur fight I weighted in at 136 by not eating and drinking much liquid 24 hours before the weight in. Then I ate a lot of pasta and stuff, also drank a lot of liquids and weighted myself the next day just for fun and weighted in at 154 but over the week I was back at 146 regularly.Comment
