Mattyyse is a tough fighter, but he legitimately lost to Zab, and was unable to hurt Alexander all that much, although maybe he deserved that win.

My point is Maidana, would;ve Koed both Zab and Alexander. Maidana is waaaay more powerful than Mattysse, and when they fight Maidana will KO Lucas.

I agree with Lucas he is more complete, but Maidana is relentless!!

By the way if he is trusting the judges like he said, he is a damn fool

At this point, I think it's a bit unfair and inconclusive to say that Matthysse is more of a complete fighter than Maidana when history has proven otherwise. Let's not forget that he struggled against an aging and shot washed up Zab Judah and a very soft Devon Alexander with no offensive firepower at all. On the other hand and imo, Maidana is the tougher of the two; Because one he has challenged the much stiffer competition and two, has faced more adversity in the ring against guys who hit back and can punch. After being knockdown for a combine total of four times against both Ortiz and Khan, perhaps the best fighter in that entire division, he came up off the canvas to nearly stop them both. He did stop Ortiz and would've stopped Khan, if it had been a different referee. If that is not the mark of a tough fighter then I don't know what is. Perhaps, Matthysse is the physically tougher of the two but definitely not the mentally tougher of the two because his heart still remains a question mark. There still remain too many questions about his courage. When was the last time he has been tested in the ring against tougher and stronger opposition? Also, he has yet to face any real danger or adversity in the ring against any elite opposition. If we want to see just how really mentally tough Matthysse is, then we'll find out against Morales, because he should knock him out since he won't have any trouble finding him. Will he just simply try and out box the older fighter, by staying on the outside and giving him angles because of Morales' far more dangerous and superior offensive firepower, even at this later stage of his career? Or will he show the same kind of mental fortitude as Maidana did and try and walk down the older fighter, while absorbing tons of punishment in the process; Only time will tell?

Maidana might be crude but he's got an iron will that is difficult to overcome

            He's like the ****ing Terminator

''and would've stopped Khan with a different referee''

              Coulda, would, shoulda

The bottom line is that Maidana had 36 mins to stop Amir and couldn't

He was actually the one who got dropped (mad props to him for even getting up, I still felt winded a couple of days later just from watching it)
