OK, so you have just proven you can spell, now, prove that you are also capable of defining the meaning of your own thread.

I voted Floyd. I like Manny so no offense Manny. Like Floyd said himself in an interview with SkySports "Ain't nothin' cool about takin punishment," shows his ring iq to me. Just what pisses me off about Floyd is this one thing. He's just smarter because he has learned from boxing history (ala Sugar Ray Robinson, Muhummad Ali, and Sugar Ray Leonard.) He knows when and when not to fight. Shiiiit old school guys were puttin' in work on two weeks notice between fights and so what if they ever lost?! We have to wait 16 months for you fight again. Not a hater because if I had to fight Floyd I would say this to his face at the press conference. Granted I would get my ass beat for it though.

This cant be a serious question. Of course Floyd has greater ring intelligence. I mean cmon man, this has to be a bait thread to figure out who the dumb biased Pac fans are.

Before any crazed passionate Pac fans go and attack me, chill chill chill! I am a big Pac fan and I love watching him fight but I am an honest person and not a rabid fanboy who ignores common sense and my own eyes.

Floyds ring IQ is superior to anybody's in boxing right now and that includes Hopkins, Marquez, and Wards. Matter of fact he actually has a chance to be considered thee smartest fighter of all time because his boxing IQ is fuc&ing ridiculously high and this isnt hyperbole.

Ring intelligence: The ability to out think your opponent, to use your brain in figuring out the right strategy to employ against any and all opponents and the ability to make adjustment after adjustment on the fly to neutralize whatever your opponent is doing or tries to do. The ability to have your opponent completely confused by utilizing feints and setting trap after trap. Memorizing your opponents defensive movements and reactions and catching on to the pattern of their movements so you can feint them to exploit a moment where you cause them to be off balance and punch at the perfect moment. In easier terms, to have the ability to engage in a chess match in the ring.

Most fighters play checkers in the ring only a few boxers are actually capable of playing chess in the ring and out of all the boxers that actually have that ability, Floyd is King in that department. No one touches him when it comes to that and thats real talk.

Pac has more tenacity, punching power, a better chin and seems to be fearless but ring intelligence? PLEASE! It isnt even debatable. Thats like me asking who has bigger calves Pac or Floyd? Its not even a matter of opinion because we can obviously use our eyes and see what the answer is.

I have no idea how some of the people who voted for Pac in this poll even look at themselves in the mirror and call themselves a boxing fan if you are that blind, that biased, or that uninformed. That **** just makes no sense at all, honestly!

For those who are probably wondering why I have kept on insisting for the ts to give a definition of 'ring intelligence', it is for the simple reason there is no quantifiable measurement to determine a boxer's RI. Unlike an IQ test, there are no sets of questions to be answered where a precise score can be determined. RI is subjective and as such, can be subject to errors. It is similar to, lets say, when people vote for a president. The majority could very well make an erroneous decision when they elect their officials.

Putting it in another way, let's go directly to the question at hand. Floyd and Pac have very different styles in boxing. Both are very proficient in their own ways. Floyd with his size and longer reach is an effective out-fighter, while Pac, being smaller and with shorter reach, developed to become a good boxer/puncher.

Can anyone point to which style require more RI than the other? If we base it on their accomplishments at WW and relative to their physical differences, we can justifiably assume that Pac has more RI since obviously, his track record is superior to Floyd's in many ways. Even when comparing their performances against common opponents, it is only against Marquez where Floyd out performed Pac, and this can be attributed to the size difference and the division where they competed. On the other hand, in spite of being smaller, Pac has done better against Hatton, DLH and Mosley.

Is there another way of looking at this to show that Floyd has more RI than Pac?
Maybe there is and I would like somebody to show this with reasonable explanations and without resorting to dissing Pac's opponents. Anyone who would attempt to resort to such tactics would only have to compare their resumes at WW and see the big difference.

If you read carefully what you wrote, you will see that your fourth paragraph is the exact description of Pac's ring intelligence.

Still waiting for the ts to define ring intelligence. In addition, kindly give your reasons why you still believe that Floyd has a higher RI than Pac. Make sure you cite certifiable examples, like something in his resume that we can compare to Pac's, to support your assertions.
I would likewise recommend that you stay away from the gibberish nonsense like what punchesnbunches had posted. Boxing is not like the belief in a Creator where the mere act of believing is enough.
