That just proves how weak 147lbs has become.

Hopefully the top light-welters will move up, see how Jones and Brook develop.

When you look at the talent in the other divisions it is clear that p4p the fighters that I listed are better than Ortiz.

            This not about Floyd.

It is about Ortiz being outside the p4p top 50, showing how Ortiz is overrated by some and how weak the welterweight division has become.

I'd say less than half of the fighters you listed are CLEARLY better p4p than Ortiz.

147 isn't the best division, but I'd say Ortiz was/is better than most in the packed 140 division. He is without a doubt the most dangerous guy at 147 besides Pacquaio for Floyd. He is easily one of the top 5 guys counting 140 division, with the most dangerous tools against Floyd of anyone.

I know you're saying this isn't about Floyd, but it obviously is. P4p ranking aside, Ortiz is a top notch opponent for Floyd, and I cannot take criticism of that very seriously.

                  Top notch?

                  Is he in Pacquiao's class?
                  Martinez class?
What about a 2007/08 Cotto or Marg or Williams
                  Or Khan's class.

Ortiz is a good boxer, not top notch.

Ricky Hatton was a bigger threat to Floyd that Ortiz is now.
