Comments Thread For: Mayweather-Ortiz Nabbed By Primetime For UK Fans

Victor Ortiz's September 17th WBC welterweight title defence against Floyd Mayweather will be broadcast live on Primetime here in the UK. The fight follows hot on the heels of Amir Khan's recent two fight run on the PPV broadcast channel and it is expected to be the beginning of a sustained boxing output.

Disappointing. We would have usually gotten this fight for free on sky sports but now if Pri,metime are going to get all the big ones its time to cancel my subscription to sky sports I think. Theres no boxing coming up on their listings.

Sky Sports needs 2 get this sorted out first Khan, then cancelling all box office boxing and now losing Floyd. I thought it was to good to b true gettin maidana morales, ward abraham, bradley alexander etc for free

Golden Boy were upset at the treatment of Khan by Sky and now you can expect many more big golden boy fights going the way of Primetime. Perhaps Primetime can become subscription based sometime soon if they continue getting decent fights on a regular basis.
