      I can't remember the last time there was a big fight on non-subscription TV. Even for something like ESPN Friday Night Fights you have to pay for at least basic cable.

            We have to pay an expensive subscription to Sky Sports channels to be able to view US/foreign fights. If these fights were PPV here they would simply not sell. You can't subsidise a product to a group who have no demand for it.

              Primetime needs HD

              The overall quality of a primetime showing is quite poor especially when compared to Sky Sports.

              But what kills it for me is no HD..

                We have to pay expensive subscriptions too for HBO and/or Showtime....then on top of that we pay for the PPVs.
