No, not tyson. Theres several heavyweights with a bigger punch than him.

Hes ony of the fastest and most explosive heavyweights of all time though.

He is just too small to generate the power that a true HW can generate.

Alot of HW's dont put all their power into every punch.

It would be fun to get the past 10-15 HW champs into one room with a PSI machine. To see who generates the most power from their legs and hips. Its the only way we can truly ever know who is the hardest puncher.

That doesn't sound logical to me, being "just too small'. The power comes from the legs and torso. Also distance and leverage. Tyson was a solid block of muscle and bone built like an oak tree, and at 220, had to have been as hard a puncher as has ever lived. It makes no matter that he was 5'11" and not 6'4" like most of his opponents. I cannot see there being any difference.

He was a perfect build for a powerful fighter. Cus D'Amato recognised this right away and his next world champion was already half made, even at 14 years old.
