I'm an atheist but I might have to rethink it because I don't know how Barrett got up without Divine intervention. Tua crushed him with that last punch.

you know......the loss and draw might be good for tua's career if he keeps fighting.

tua should retire but he needs the money.

he's so past it , he can finally become a gatekeeper for up and comers.

might get some dinero for a couple more fights.

Barrett's done two things now which I don't think any other opponent has done to Tua before:

1. Survive a knockdown to win the fight

2. Legitimately knock Tua down

Of course, it's a horrible shot to shaggery Tua he's accomplished these against, but I've always kinda liked Barrett so it's nice to see him get a measure of success in the twilight of his career. Had Tua won the fight by KO it would've been dramatic and exciting, but it would have also likely put him in the radar of the Klitschkos, and either fight would have been the mismatch of the decade, worse even than Vitali Briggs. I don't think I could remain a boxing fan seeing something like that again.

Tua might be fooked monetarily, but like LHT says, from a respect point of view he's been granted quite a good loss to go out on. He'll probably fight on in the desperate hope that he'll be able to clear his debts (he won't) but I think the last get out of jail card has been used tonight.

Barrett had that demeanor about him.. it wouldve ****** if he lost it in the last round, much like Taylor/chavez snr. lol

Was a good fight. today barret was at his best, he trained really hard for this one and came in top form.

He did hold on to david a few times which saved his life but thats a part of smart boxing. David tua started getting into his groove after round 7 which was a ashame unfortunetly. I hope they do have another 3rd fight for this if barret cant find anything, david tua will def win the 3rd one by ko if it happens after watching that last round. David has to take more risks and get in there more, hes a tank and all he needs is that 1 good shot to *** his opponent. Both fighters did well
