After rewatching the final round, it's still baffling how Barrett was able to get up in time after such a brutal knockdown. He lands on his outside of the ring and then the next time you see him, he's back in the ring on his knees and quickly gets to his feet. It's probably a stroke of luck for Barrett that he goes down right in front of his corner men who are able to egg him on till he gets to his feet. Any other corner of the ring, I don't think he makes it. But it was an exciting finish to a disappointing fight for Tua.

good win for him (relatively) but it wasn't a notable fight nor win in the big picture.

Its not career ending people just saying that. Its more like david tua getting old and he doesnt have the time to afford a loss and fight his way back up.
hopefully with the money he got the 400k and other money from that fight he can train properly now.
Tua been living in his gym and living at the trainers house training for this fight. I thought it was a good fight just had a slow start, Monte boxed really smart vs tua and was really careful. Sounded like monte was in same position as tua and had no money as well but monte trained hard and wanted to win that fight more. That gave him the power to get up from that knock down and it was so lucky some of those massive swings missed monte after he got up other wise he would of been KO'd for sure.
