By far the best bet for this fight is it going the distance at -140. PBF has only stopped one out of his last six opponents and has shown no interest in going for the KO in his last two fights. You bet $14k to win $10k. Way better bet than betting $14k to win $2k on PBF winning.

Betting the UD would be better, as it very unlikely that is going to be a SD or MD.

Mayweather is -800 favorite; this is the same thing as $100/$800 (reward/risk)

So if you put up $10,000, you would win: ($100/$800)*($10,000) = $1,250

To make $10,000 betting on Mayweather, you would have to put down:

(reward/risk)*(risk) = reward.......our final reward is $10,000 and our

(reward/risk) ratio is ($100/$800) so we rearrange to solve for the risk or amount that we have to spend:

risk = reward/(reward/risk)

risk = ($10,000)/($100/$800)

risk = $80,000, you have to spend $80,000 to win $10,000 by betting on Mayweather.

You could make $80,000 by only spending $10,000 by betting on Ortiz though.......
