Screw the guys telling you that if you don't know betting you shouldn't bet. If you feel confident, let it ride. I am a former bettor so I only checked one line for you. Right now Floyd is -675 at one site which means to make 100 dollars you have to put 675. So, if you put 675 dollars on Floyd your return is 775 dollars(the 100 dollars+675 betted). If you put down 10,000 dollars your return is about 1500 dollars(so about 11500). To me I agree that the over/under is a much better bet because risking 10,000 dollars, even on Mayweather to only return 15% isn't that great and it's boxing, anything can happen. Put 10 g's on the over/under, over obviously and you are getting back a nice 7500(17500 with your betting money).

The odds are 1/8 not 8/1

You will get $12500 back.

But you should not bet on Mayweather to win, a smarter bet would be for Mayweather to win by a UD.

Bit more risky but more reward.
