If this fight happens I will be surprised if Berto wins a round.
They practically have the same hand speed.

Maidana's slow, wide looping unathletic ass won rounds, and he didn't emphasize on trying to win rounds. So what makes you go that far?

If Berto were to fight Khan, sooner of later he would do exactly what he did against Ortiz....Nothing.

Stand and take a beating because he is so flawed when facing anyone that's better than average he has no clue what to do.

Khan would beat the **** out of him.
polar opposites? i dont even see how u say that, both are crude and wild. maidana is not a pressure fighter, he disguises himself as one.

berto may have lost the ortiz fight but maidana was losing that fight as well. the only thing different in the two fights imo was ortiz. he looked a whole lot better at ww than he did at jww. they were both very similar in nature. lets not make it seem like maidana was doing something that berto wasnt.

like i said, i disagree, but i reckon we probably wont get to see the fight anyways.

Khan isn't the puncher Ortiz is, neither is he as physical strong or as physically imposing. For Khan to replicate the same performance Ortiz did, he would have take Berto's legs from under him EARLY, and Amir doesn't posses that kind of power.

Lets consider that Berto has been taking on southpaws mostly, Berto would operate better against Khan.

                  All I know is ....

If Khan stuns Berto, Berto will come back.
(Proof: Berto came back with knockdowns in R2 and R6 against Ortiz, despite losing - Also, Khan wounded Maidana with a body shot in R1 but never followed up #epicfail regardless if he won)

If Berto stuns Khan, Khan better run, because it will be over soon.
(Proof: Ran for the remainder of the championship rounds against Maidana)

Oh, was Maidana laying against the ropes and telling Ortiz to come to him? Berto did this most of the fight with Ortiz because he was so bamboozled by actual substance.

If you genuinely believe that Berto and Maidana fight alike you are seriously mistaken. They fight nothing alike.

Maidana is a pressure fighter, he comes to fight, and doesn't take a step back. He is slow, and plodding.

Berto, is not a pressure fighter, in any way, shape or form. He fights in spurts, throwing 1 punch at a time at times even. Tries to box, but is so pityful at it he ends up not boxing but having almost no style.

Oh wait, we already did... de ja vu:

Berto: 22.5 in armpit to the fist
Khan: 24.5 in armpit to the fist

Guess that won't be an issue in this fight.
