Ortiz has a very good chance of pulling the upset. Just depends on if Floyd grows old over night.

My view is that while this is the best fight Mayweather could make outside Pacquiao, Ortiz is NOT ready for a fight this big against an opponent this good. He will crack in that ring. He is going to get dominated, and the only way that doesn't happen is if Mayweather got old over the last year.

I'd be SHOCKED if Mayweather is still at the same level, and Ortiz is competitive.

Ortiz is young, hungry, and believes in himself. He believes he has a good chance to beat Floyd and keep the title he's longed for for so long. If Ortiz can pull off a round similar to Mosley's and is able to follow it up and put Floyd in trouble and keep him there, then we could see the tables turning in favor of Ortiz.

Props to Ortiz for calling out Floyd and wanting to test himself.
Mayweather has not been inactive for almost two years. Stop making stuff up.

May picked the right opponent, a young, hungry and strong fighter who has many flaws, lunges with punches and has proved, that when the tough gets going, he has quit....
Ortiz proved he can take it and dish it in the Berto fight, but no one on this board, including the May fans, never thought much of Berto to begin with. Ortiz does have a punchers chance and being a southpaw will help him, but in the end, i think May boxes circles around Ortiz to UD
I'm actually looking forward more to the undercard then the main event. I got tix to the fights and will be there...

Ortiz will put Mayweather through hell, I see this like Cotto-Marg fight, Ortiz will make Mayweather quit in later rounds.
