And to imagine that this is one of Mayweather's defining fights....sickens me every time I think about it. As Corrales said in a prefight interview, when asked WHY he took the fight when he couldn't make the weight, "They made me an offer I just couldn't refuse"....
The guy was desperate for cash, owed his lawyers, and had already been found guilty and went to jail almost right after the fight. His life was in tatters.

He was just the right sort of opponent that the Mayweather Brains Trust were always on the lookout for.

So starved that he stayed at the weight for a few more years and it was actually Floyd that moved up first. Good job buddy....

Corrales had no problem making weight in any of his previous 130 pound fights or the ones he fought after the Mayweather fight. He was a world champion at 130 at the time of the Mayweather fight. He was also recognized as the best fighter in that weight class at the time of the fight. He was desperate for cash because he blew all of his fu@king money and no one forced him to beat his pregnant girlfriend. These things had nothing to do with the a$$ whipping he took in the ring against Mayweather. Corrales didn't make any of these excuses before the fight when he was predicting a quick knockout of Mayweather. The fact is he got his as$ whipped by a superior opponent.

Based on your analysis, Victor Ortiz should beat the **** out of Mayweather since Mayweather is facing potentially 30+ years in prison and always has money problems according to a$$wipes like you. Since you are so sure that these things affected Corrales, why don't you sell everything you own and bet it all on Ortiz to win. Based on your analysis, you would be a rich man on September 18.

You wanted to be 'respectful' to those guys when you view them as Floyd victories yet you were banned for laughing at fight fans that were mourning when Gatti died

thought you hated Gatti with a passion Dios?
