Yeah that would have been a smart move.

I'll tell you what, post me one of your old post from prior to the Margarito fight where you are calling Pacquiao to fight Berto and I'll give you your dues.

Please don't tell me you are going to duck this one too.

It is just getting embarassing for you.
He fought Clottey the mummy didnt he , what was so good about him other than the inhouse golden handshake Arum made , he ducked Mosley until he showed he was shot ,,,, both Berto and Ortiz are live risks and prime they are the young guns and more dangerous opponents than a name fighter that is shot to **** .

Margo was only picked because it was inhouse and Margo was shot coming out of exile and a big KO loss , lol but they still CWed him and then stuck him in a monster ring with 8oz gloves on .

The Pac fans double standards are so pathetic .

Mosley at least had a punchers chance against Pacquiao, had good handspeed and a granite chin.

There is no doubt in my mind Berto would have got KOed in 6.

Plus Pacquiao wanted to out do Mayweather, which he did.
Mosley and Berto both had the same punchers chance. In most cases, the guy on the come up is a safer bet than the guy who has peaked (not B-Hop though).
Berto was outgunned agaisnt Ortiz but he faught valiantly, not just running away and surviving like Mosley did against Pacquiao.
Mosley shouldn't have gotten this fight on the benefit of the doubt, it should go to who deserved it most based on recent performances and that was Berto or even JMM.

The dude is making up links saying that Mosley was still number 3 ranked after the LOSS to Mayweather and Mora...no fcking way...

Mosley was far down the ranks...everyone knows Berto was 2nd to Pacquiao during that time. UNIVERALLY in all WW rankings.

See no lineal title when he beat Mosley.

Hope you have learned something today.

Mosley is a monster puncher, Berto not so much.

Berto spent half the fight against Ortiz resting on the ropes telling Ortiz to punch him.

Berto had a bad start, fought well in patches, but he has stamina issue and Ortiz wanted it more that him. Couldn't deal with Ortiz's pressure and didn't have the power to deter Ortiz.

Now we seen Ortiz will broken before and seen that Maidan has the power to take the fight out of him.

If Mosley signed to fight Berto get your money on Sugar Shane.

            • The point of my whole debate...is it ok to acknowledge Mosley as the biggest Payday, but don't try to make him out to be more than that.

              MOSLEY

              1. He was not a champion
              2. Coming off loss
              3. OLD (which was said by Arum and Roach)
              4. SHOT

              ---------------------------------

              BERTO

              1. Undefeated
              2. Champion
              3. Prime
              4. 2nd ranked next to Pacquiao

Lets keep it real, Mosley was a money fight....Not a fight because he was the best out there.

WTF? Did you not read where it says, CURRENT LINEAL CHAMPION?

Why do you think it has the word "CURRENT" in there?

Because, he is the current lineal champion.

He won it when he beat Mosley.

                So therefor *sigh* I repeat.

                When Pac vs Mosley happened.

                Floyd was the lineal champion

                Pac ranked #1
                Ortiz #2

Those are your top 3 WWs when Pac-Mosley happened.

However, more importantly is when Pac-Mosley was signed. That's when it matter of most.

                Floyd was the lineal champion
                Pac ranked #1
                Berto ranked #2

Those were your top 3 WW's.

If you want the ring rankings then....

                Pac #1
                Floyd #2
                Berto #3

No matter how you try to spin it, Mosley wasn't ranked top 3. And, there were better options.

Anyways, so when you read that it Floyd Mayweather "CURRENT LINEAL CHAMPION" what exactly did you think that meant?

He did that with his P4P ranking also.

He took the current P4P rankings which CLEARLY shows Ortiz as number 2........and tried to say, SEE Mosley is ranked higher than Berto.

But it was clearly a older ranking, not the rankings before Berto lost his undefeated streak and title.
