Comments Thread For: Hopkins: Dawson's Second Chance Will Be Very Painful

Got to admit it. The Ripley's Believe It Or Not sideshow freak ("Albert Cadabra," yeah, sure., pal) who hammered a nail into his face was impressive but, when it came to speechmaking at the Tuesday press conference at BB King's in Times Square, everybody but ring legend Bernard Hopkins was just wasting their breath.

you never look good winning a "disputed" decision....

you look even worse, when you choose not to have a rematch.

then, you look really bad, when you sniff coke.

Dawson is going to beat the hell out of Hopkins as long as he is healthy.

You guys are so bigoted, or shall i call it just biased. Calzaghe made an absolute fool of Hopkins. Befuddled him as if he were a beginner. With all thhe usual Hopkins theatrics, along with his headbutts and fould blows etc when the ref couldn;t see, it was really laughable, and it was obvious that Calzaghe knew exactly what Hopkins was trying on. I think he was surprised more than once that the ref let him get away with it.

The "SPLIT"decision was as fraudulent as were Hopkins attempts to influence the ref to call "foul" more often so that he could keep having breathers. Calzaghe was just too smart and too fast for him. On a different level entirely. It was more like a Vaudeville act than a boxing match, because all the actual boxing came from one side. The other side contributed the inept, low "comedy".

Get some sense abouut boxing .....at least!

all that said, he won a DISPUTED decision. take your fan goggles off, cuz face it, whomever ppl are a fan of, they're going to choose that person's side.

aside from it being a split decision from the refs, most of press row also had hopkins winning the fight....

if Dawson loses one round to BHop, he should be ashamed of himself
