Vic was getting schooled and Donaire was setting him up for it the entire time.

At this point I don't understand why Top Rank would turn it down. Nonito is in my top 5 and Vic has slid drastically out of his prime and would be light work for Donaire at this point.

      What a shame.

Top Rank is dead right, why have this fight again.

Darchinyan got KTFO. And now Donaire is a better fighter and hits harder.

What next Pacquiao should rematch Hatton and Haye to rematch Audley.

i think top rank is waiting for the result of mares-agbeko fight this weekend. if agbeko wins, that's probably the next fight for donaire which is fine even if top rank said no to darchinyan who is under shaw promotions, a promoter arum doesn't wanna work with. if mares wins, we can forget about him fighting donaire since he's under golden boy.

Buncha Donairehuggers here, can't talk to you about this. Its always this way, the more "glamourous" fighter gets all the credit and the guy who lost to him is belittled. I suggest you all go back and watch the fight again. Vic was not getting schooled all the time, 2 out of 3 judges had the fight even going into the 5th!

More money to be made against the Mares-Agbeko winner.

you have to realize that donaire has become more dangerous and complete fighter while he's moving up in weight compared to when he fought darchi at 112. maybe it's because he doesn't have to drain his body too much at higher weights.

it's the opposite for darchinyan, he's not as strong and effective as when he was fighting at 112 and 115. at 118, donaire will take him out earlier than when they fought at 112.
