Like he is a good fighter but I still remember seeing Jose Cotto tagging him good at one point. I was hopeing he was going to stop him lol.

Good fighter nonetheless. I still think Cotto destroys him

I remember that now, I think it was on a PPV undercard. Yea he did have him hurt. Do fighters increase their ability to take a punch with age? I'm wondering if he will become more durable as he gets older.if not, there is no way he can make it to the top if his chin isn't there because his defense isn't good enough.

its all hype thats it, like for example, a couple years ago when paul williams was gonna be the future p4p king and the second coming of sugar ray robinson. its all hype at the end of the day.

I remember he wanted to avenge his brother loss and fight Austin Trout. GBP did a good thing not to match up in that fight IMO. I think Trout not as a popular as Alvarez but would beat Alvarez quite handily.
After Gomez he should fight the winner of Wolak-K9. Two belts unified.

Than he can fight the winner of the Angulo-Vanes.

True, but at least P-Will beat Cotto's daddy. Alvarez hasn't had a win like that yet.

Getting stunned in a boxing match is pretty common thing. It's funny how you wanna criticize the kid by bringing up a fight he completely dominated. he got hit with a punch he didn't see coming big ***ing deal.

If he can win those, then I will be in the bandwagon.

Canelo has taken punches from bigger punchers than Jose.

                    Tyner, Rhodes, Michel Rosales.

                    All hit harder.

I think Jose just surprised Canelo like he surprised Malinaggi.

                      WTF is wrong with you?

A poster asked "I want to see his chin checked" I gave him an example of his chin being checked. Did Cotto not check his chin?

It was no criticism. Then I said he did a "good job in facing that adversity"

                      So WTF is your issue?
