I dont see whats so great about Saul Alvarez

I was watching the Ryan Rhodes fight last night and I dont get it. Whats the hype on this kid? He's not the quickest guy in the world his power is a lil overrated. Is it just me?

It's his age. His young so people feel has potential.

He might live up to the hype, he might not. I personally think people will be highly disappointed in how his career turns out. But, that's just me.

I think people see potential in him, even if he hasn't lived up to it yet. I think he will rise to the occasion when he is in a serious fight but we will see. I need to see a chin check before I throw my weight behind him.

          Definitely the age.

But I disagree. I think he will live up to a lot of the hype. Not all of it. No one can.

Cotto little brother -a blown up LW- chin checked him. Had him hurt. But, Alvarez did good in facing that adversity.

Maybe, but I have to see him against someone with speed or power. To see how he handles that.

I remember he wanted to avenge his brother loss and fight Austin Trout. GBP did a good thing not to match up in that fight IMO. I think Trout not as a popular as Alvarez but would beat Alvarez quite handily.
