        Barrera is greater than Marquez.

I don't know bout the ducking part. All I know in their fight Barrera dropped him cleanly & got a point deducted to boot, 4 point swing. Marquez was lucky to have walked away with that win, that I know.

Barerra winning or losing that fight still doesn't make Barerra the greatest boxer ever.

And Barerra still lost the fight regardless, and lost BAD to Pac while he was in his prime. Rematch it was clear Pac wasn't going for a knockout.

So all props to MAB, he's awesome but greatest ever, nope.

Absolutely amazing fighter, and that first win by Pacquiao remains the greatest win of Manny's career.

I give Manny all props fro a win over prime(ish) MAB.

Those four guys carried the division for a while there. The awesome thing is, they all fought each other during their primes and all four are future HoFers.

There was the classic trilogy between Morales and Barrera.
                Pacquiao's utter destruction of Barrera.
Another classic trilogy between Pacquiao and Morales.
Marquez coming back from getting knocked down 3 times in the first to fight to a draw. Losing by the narrowist margin in the second fight and an upcoming 3rd.
Then there was the highly competitive Marquez vs. Martinez.

Barrera was prime, but his training camp ****** against pac, because of a big fire which closed his gym a month before the fight. But he would've still lost.

He won against Marquez though. Didn't get his knockdown, but instead a point deducted.
Ref was bull**** and cost him the win,

What is this ridiculous obsession with people saying that Barrera beat Marquez? The fight, while good, really wasn't that close. It was a bit like Oscar/Mayweather...people wank on like complete tossers about it being a SD and super close because of the fan favourite fighter but in reality, it was an easy win for both. Easier for Mayweather obviously, but Marquez win a clear UD. Anyone giving that fight to Barrera is either a ******, a ******, a ******, a ******, a Barrera fan, a Marquez hater or a ******.

It kind of reminds me of the Martinez/Cintron draw that I keep seeing people talking about. "Oh, Martinez is totally overrated. He only got a draw against Cintron", yeah, in a fight in which he knocked Cintron the **** out.

Finally, on to the morons who insist on bringing up the point deduction from Barrera for him scoring a KD. Yes, he scored a KD, but then after about 3 damn seconds and absurdly blatantly he wound up and cracked Marquez on the back of the head while down. He was very lucky not to have been DQ'd. As it was a point deduction was minimal. With or without the KD, Marquez was still a clear winner. People really need to take the blinkers off and watch the fight properly.

No, he cost himself the win by 1) losing the fight and 2) blatantly hitting a fighter intentionally when he was down. Go watch many other fighters get DQ'd, lose one/two points etc etc for the same thing, and yet people still want to think that not only should nothing have happened but Barrera should have been awarded the knockdown point?
