    • The USADA can't test in the Phillipines? and that's ok? LOL!

This is some bullsh__! Pac-Man running from the U.S. so he can't be properly tested? LOL! Floyd please don't go for that bullsh__! Pac-Man needs to bring his narrow ass to the U.S. so we can keep a watchful eye on him. His home country to do the testing? How big off a joke is that? Come on stop the bullsh__! In my opinion, this is just another example that shows how far they will go to hide the truth about Pac-Man. Amazing! We should boycott this fight and not buy a single pay-per-view until they bring that narrow ass Pac-Man to the U.S. the entire time! Floyd you don't need that bullsh__. Neither do we as the public.

How is it that a drug test halts the biggest fight in history and everyone is still behind this Philipino? WOW!
Maybe because it's ridiculous, if Floyds paranoia should decide, where Manny shall train for his fight.

I am a firm believer in OST and hope that Manny is clean. Not as a fan of his, but as a fan of the sport.

I'm not a fan of how Floyd keeps demanding though and this recent demand - outspoken by his uncle - if it as well is Floyds position, is just too ridiculous.

Imagine if the situation was reversed! Floyd, you must train in the Philipines, 'cuz I do not trust that USADA isn't on your payroll...

          • pac is not an US citizen so he can be in the US for 3 months at most, that's why he does some training in the philippines.
this is not news, we have been debating it as a possibility as soon as the whole WADA/USADA thing came into the public a month ago.
although it would be wise to do the whole camp in the US for the floyd fight.

            • Funny how Bob Arum said he didn't trust the USADA because Floyd is in good with them but yet he wants Manny to train in the phillipines mostly where the USADA can't monitor and take the blood? Isn't Manny a politician in the Philippines? I would think Pac would be able to pull more strings in the Philippines than Floyd can in the US. This whole test issue is mentally draining the sport. Mega excuses from Arum. I bet you that if the fight does get signed that Manny won't even train in the US at the Wild Card Gym. If that were to happen then you know without a doubt homie is dirty because he always trains at the Wild Card.

Glad Manny isn't fighting Fruad Sr.

Well let's look at it this way:

Floyd Mayweather has been saying from the beginning(three years ago) that he wants OST with USADA. This is nothing new.

If you are a fan of the sport, let's put aside Mayweather & Pacquiao and look at this objectively.

Fighter A has spent the last 15 years dominating the sport. He's consistently beaten #1 fighters in EVERY division except for the 140 division where the reigning champion asked for 60%. In fact Fighter A didn't pad his record to seem more formidable, He fought a HOF in just his 18th fight as a pro.

Now I say this to point out that if Fighter A were ever reluctant to fight a specific fighter in ANY division, it would show on his record. There would be evidence that Fighter A has a tendency to avoid tough fights because he wasn't facing the #1 in each division.

Fighter B spent his first 40 fights padding his record against opponents that NONE OF YOU have ever heard of. 36 of those 40 fights were fought in a corner of the world where no real competition existed. Fighter B has only 57 fights. Fighter B also has made it a trend of his own to side step champions in many of the divisions that he's competed in favor of competing for vacant titles in order to call himself a champion in those divisions.

Now if you look at Fighter B's record, this can easily be verified. There is a visible pattern that shows Fighter B taking less chances and the low road to greatness, but seeking to be regarded as great as if he took the same chances that men before him who have been considered great have taken.(By low road, I'm referring to building a legacy off of catchweight fights, vacant titles and rehydration clauses).

With that said, Fighter A has a career that shows that he is willing to face the best. Fighter A's record shows that he has faced the #1 in every division except 140, and has remained undefeated doing so.

Fighter B has a career that shows he is willing to face those seeking to gain vacant titles to be considered among the best, and also the best only after they have fallen. Fighter B has faced few #1's in his career, and has been beaten and knocked out by those who were not #1.

Logically, who is more apt to shy away from the biggest challenges based solely upon what they have already demonstrated in their entire careers?

It should also be mentioned that additional testing has been demanded before .. most famously in the Tyson/Holyfield fight. Holyfield gladly complied to make the fight and didn't take 3 years to do it either. I cannot remember another time in the history of professional sports where an athlete has resisted taking tests meant to create a level playing field when so much money is on the table.

For the split Pacquiao stands to win, I would easily go as far to say that EVERY #1 boxer in every division in boxing in the last 100 years would have submitted to those tests years ago.

From Jacks Johnson to Joe Louis, to Rocky Marciano to Ray Robinson to Muhammad Ali to Ray Leonard to Marvin Hagler to Roberto Duran to Larry Holmes to Mike Tyson to Lennox Lewis to Roy Jones jr to James Toney to Vitali Klitschko.

In fact, you have boxers who are working with Victor Conte stating that they would take any USADA tests ANY day, ANY time. IMO, that itself makes Pacquiao's reluctance to take those tests su****ious and quite frankly, very weak.

I believe that Arum is stalling this Mayweather fight for the exact reason why he stalled the rematch with Marquez for 4 years:

ARUM, ROACH AND PACQUIAO ARE HOPING THAT MAYWEATHER LOSES A STEP AS HE AGES.

Its ashamed that they're doing it to Marquez. Its ashamed that Team Pacquiao wishes to meet the greatest boxer of this era ONLY after he ages passed his prime.

                  • Well, no issue except for them actually signing the contract to fight.

                    We will see.
