Around 2.30 not the best angle and the boxer’s feet are not in view however it does look as though Ali was off balance and maybe falling a fraction of a second before the punch landed.

I have seen a lot of people hurt and dropped by body shots they rarely fall backwards and with such a speedy falling motion when someone is legitimately hurt to the body there instant reaction is to curl forwards before going down.

My opinion is that Ali was off balance and from the picture someone else posted in this thread it could well be that his feet where tangled as well very iffy knock down, in my opinion there are very good grounds to argue about its legitimacy.
