what was so great about the oscar that floyd fought? just because he gave floyd problems doesn't mean he was a great fighter. he was marching forward throwing a ton of ineffective punches and couldn't setup anything. it was rather sad to see and i thought maybe it was just floyd's great defense but nope against forbes and pac the same oscar showed up.

Body punching, and that version of Oscar legs were gone. Prime Cotto stamina might have better as well than that version of Oscar. A prime Cotto could pull the trigger quicker than that version of Oscar too.

Cotto doesn't really fight in a manner where diminished legs would be a big factor imo.......close fight because Oscar WAS FADED 100%, but i just see opportunities for him to land some big left hooks, against someone who's chin isn't even half as good as Oscar's. Oscar looked like a raisin or prune against MP and his chin was still pretty good.

He won a pretty clear 7 rounds to 5 against SSM, but Oscar's power is comparable to Shane's imo, also he's bigger and stylistically it's a left hooker vs another left hooker.

He beat a worn and beaten ZAB and Corley. Corley took him to hell and back, and Zab would have ko'ed him in the first or second round had it not been for those low blows.A prime hatton would have destroyed Cotto, and if you go lower down to Carrales, costillio, I think we all know ctto would have been demolished.
