once you are living the easy life it's very hard to break that routine and start challenging yourself. good money is good money. why risk losing? for the fans? come on now they don't care about the fans.

I haven't seen any news on big name fighters getting their offers turned down by him, let alone offering to fight him in Indonesia. I don't think any of the guys with name value want to risk fighting without the advantage here, and he isn't interested in risking being robbed in America.

I thought John clearly won the fight with Juarez and got shafted by the D on his record. Personally I was surprised he came back to America for the rematch after the way the first fight was scored.

This thread reminded me of when De Leon rematched that SEA guy on the Mosley Vargas II PPV

Why should they? who is John just an obscure no name belt holder. He has been around for some time and there is always talk of these fights happening with him and they never materialize so this leads me to believe its his fault for making it difficult or he doesn't want to fight good competition because the problem most likely is not everyone else but him if everyone else is fight each other.

plus its not like you can just fly over to indonesia and there you are. you have to pogostick through the jungle and fight malaria-carrying mosquitoes and wear bee-keeper masks and cross several islands just to get to the kingdom of jakarta.

Which is why guys shouldn't be afraid to go fight him. The champ is the champ. He decides where the fight is. I feel like if people were willing to fight him in Indonesia and he was turning them down, then we damn sure would be hearing about it. That's the whole nature of calling guys out.

If guys aren't willing to fight the beltholder in his home town, then they aren't really willing to fight the beltholder at all.

Unless he is fighting a fighter who brings more notoriety and thus more $$$.

Even if they are the ones who do not want to go over there does that just excuse him fighting terrible competition at home never televised anywhere but in Asia so no one sees it or cares. Like I said in my OP he is joke for that reason even if he yes is skilled and is a good fighter.
