John did nothing for 11 rounds but look and posture and even with BS point deductions from his home town ref failed to beat JMM. That was a gift for sure and JMM is the one who won 8 rounds.

I think he was thoroughly shellshocked by dominating a fight so easily and then getting robbed. If I was him I'd go back to Germany too. Plus, its easy to say that people are weak but he still has to get in the ring and take punches so he deserves props for a good career.

john is a pretty crappy fighter in actuality. he lost to marquez clearly. he used the sven ottke/chris eubank do just enough to keep the fight somewhat competitive and steal a decision strategy to perfection. besides that he's fought derrick gainer and journeyman rocky juarez twice. nothing stellar. he barely won his last fight vs that other indonesian guy yordan. let's see him fight salido instead of hand picked bums.

But anyway I agree that John's opposition could be alot better. Its not like hed make more money though so I can see why he fights stiffs. The only lucrative fights for him are Juanma or Gamboa and I doubt Arum would put either guy in with him.
1 low blow warrants a point deduction? yeah if you are the challenger in indonesia maybe. those were the fastest point deductions i've ever seen. you could tell the fix was in. at one point marquez hurt john and went after him but the ref stepped in front of marquez to give john time to recover because he's a nice guy. john is a fraud just like calzaghe. at least he's not scared of flying but he is scared of fighting top competition. maybe when he's 35 he will try to redeem himself like joe and pretend everyone ducked him his whole career.

ok but marquez threw one accidental low blow and the ref took a point. actually it wasn't even very low it was a border line body shot but he took a point anyway because he's a corrupt ref. as for being in my ass i'm already all booked up solid for this year. make an appointment!

If someone takes all the other titles I will consider them undisputed champion.
hes the champion, why should he go anywhere??if you want the belt then go fight him in his own backyard, simply as that

im sure arum could make the fight gamboa if hes willing to travel over there

why should gamboa fight for 30k in a parking lot where he will be robbed unless he ko's his opponent? why not both of them fight for a million in the united states on a big channel like hbo? because john likes fighting bums and taking the lions share over there in front of his fans who love him because he's the king of tomato bashing.

Have Gamboa and whoever else ever offered to fight him Indonesia? He was man enough to take on Marquez, so I don't really buy the argument that he's scared to step up.
