At this point titles arent real either.

At the end of the day it's all someones opinion. Only difference is The Ring's opinion is published in the form of a magazine.

The whole P4P thing is pointless though, it's just all fantasy. You just couldn't tell how a fighter fighting at Welterweight would look like at Heavyweight or whether he would beat the champ of that division. The list should just be called the top 10 boxers in the world.

It's all in good fun though.

Naturally, there has to be a who is p4p the best fighter in the world, because otherwise it would always be the heavyweight champ who is considered the best and no other fighters are talked about.

If there was no p4p, Wlad or Vitali would be the best and no one else would be given a mention. But p4p is just who has achieved the most for their size. Pac would beat Sergio in 6 rounds if he was the same size as Sergio. If Pac fights Sergio at Sergios weight he might get knocked out, or lose on points. Or even win on points against Sergio, or knock Sergio out even.

P4P is all just opinion at the end of the day.

Tell me, how many instances in the modern era can/could/has it be/been proved? Even if Ping Ping fought Maiiiiiii it wouldn't prove it as "P4P" because Ping Ping clearly ISN'T the same size as Money Maiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiii.

It's just for FUN. It can't, in 80% of circumstances, be proven. Unless I've gotten behind with the times and someone's managed to shrink Wlad so that he can fight Andre Ward on even terms.

I can imagine most of you **** knuckles sat there touching yourselves over this ****. But it's just HYPOTHETICAL.
It never fails to amaze me how moronic some TS are on this board. Then again, the TS's chosen screen name means "fanboy"...it shows.

If you have to create a post arguing that p4p is hypothetical, your mum must be the dumbest b1tch on this planet 4 having you.

Listen dmb****, it's boxing, IT IS ALL HYPOTHETICAL, that's why you have alphabet titles, and limitless rankings. It's all subjective. We're not talking about something objective, like you being a ******. That's what makes boxing unique. If that's too hard for you to understand, do the world a favor, and don't have any kids. Don't talk to non-boxing fans because you are the reason that "boxing is dying". And anyone who uses the term "**** knuckles" prob doesn't get any tw@t since you looking at your own appendage shouldn't remind you of something that men get. ****ing wanker!!!

From now on, you will be known as "**** Knuckles".

I think it has become the cool thing to diss P4P rankings. Why diss them? Everyone wants to know who the best in any sport is. You rank guys in everything. Its natural. Sure we dont know who would win if Wlad fought Mayweather in a P4P fight but we dont know who will win if Mayweather fought Berto either. Nothing's fact until it happens.

I think ranking guys in a P4P sense is very legit. I think its totally ok to look at guys and say he's the best fighter for his size. That ofcourse Roy Jones even at this stage could still beat Pacquaio but P4P Pacquaio is a much better fighter. Thats totally legit to me.

Furthermore, who cares? Why do people care to diss it? Its just everyone's opinion and most of the time despite the arguments, everyone's P4P list is generally close to the same thing so there must be something to it. I with my own eyes can see that there is hardly anyone in the sport better than Mayweather & Pac and if that these guys were near the same size then those guys would win.

On the other hand, we dont know anything until guys fight. Its just like Mosley being #1 P4P in alot of people's eyes and some thinking that Mosley would kill Forrest. The fight almost didnt happen and everyone wouldve thought Mosley was the best but they did fight and we saw the outcome. Thats what makes boxing great. I dont think most people go insane about it. Atleast not me.

Im a big Floyd fan but I dont rank him #1 just because Im a fan. I dont have him #1. As long as youre fair & not a homer then I think it can be a cool thing

I never got the big fuss about p4p rankings either. Around here it's just another set piece in the whole Pac-PBF e-war.
