those aren't the facts though. the real facts are they offered him 8 million to fight margarito. he turned that down. then a couple months later they offered him 8 million to fight baldomir and he accepted it. so obviously it wasn't the money. i guess it was the high profile fight against a journeyman that tempted him.

the real facts are that they offered floyd 8 mill to fight margo and floyd said he would fight margo if arum could make fights with cotto and hatton happen and he wanted 10 mill for each of those fights but arum said that he couldn't make that happen so floyd didn't fight margarito and as far as fighting baldomir floyd got a little more than 8 mill to fight baldomir and baldomir was the lineal champ and had a recognizable name on his resume in judah

I think it was both fighters who didn't want the fight. Arum probably had something to do with this.

That being said, the video in the OP reminded me of how much I like Cotto. He seems so fragile now but may be regaining some of his edge. Can't wait to find out on Dec. 3rd.

No get your facts straight, after the Judah fight Floyd asked for 10 mil to fight Cotto at 147 but Arum said he would only guarantee 7 mil. Then Arum offered Floyd 8 mil to fight Margarito. He offered more money to fight the lesser known fighter? Come on now, it's clear as day he was keeping Cotto away from Floyd.
